Bio
Aditya is a Sr. Applied Scientist with the AWS Computer Vision team. He completed his PhD in Computer Science studies at
University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
He was advised by Prof. David Forsyth
and Prof. Alexander Schwing.
His research areas are Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, GPU Computing.
He TA'ed for
CS445 Computational Photography (Fall'17),
taught by Prof. Derek Hoiem and
CS225 Data Structures (Fall'14) taught by Prof. Cinda Heeren.
Prior to joining University of Illinois, he did his Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science by Research
at
IIIT Hyderabad, working with Prof. P J Narayanan.
He also manages gpu servers,
draws toons,
travels,
runs,
sky-dives, tracks his academic tree in his free time!
